IPL Vs ICC World Cup Cricket!

While most of the ICC World Cup 2019 teams from around the world will soon be holding or are about to hold training camps for this important event, India will still only have the Indian Premier League (IPL 2019). Good...

There is an obvious reason for Virat Kohli to continue to be the captain of the Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) even after the most infamous case of team performance. As the superb cricketer that he is, as well as the captain of the India national team, Virat has been the star attraction of the IPL 2019. Therefore, despite the distressing losses, he still spent most of the commercial time on the air alongside some of his non-performers, and an appetizing element of uncertainty was bolstered by cricket experts or the media or audiences that he could have staged a comeback for his franchise yet.

and who knows ..! For the same reasons, in terms of money and glamor, Indian cricketers simply could not leave the IPL halfway, while many other international cricketers had already left or were leaving for training or prep camps in their countries. Ideally, the camp should be one month long and most countries take this principle very seriously. However, the last IPL match, scheduled for 12 May 2019, did not even have two weeks for India to prepare for the 2019 ICC World Cup, which kicks off on 30 May 2019 in England and Wales. In addition, until now there has been no news of whether there will actually be an Indian camp or not.

The IPL has been a mystery in many ways. Many cricket experts and some sports journalists believe that competitive IPL provides good enough playing practice for the upcoming international tournament. This was a very controversial issue. The T20 format is completely different: bowlers cannot throw more than 4 overs each, and batsmen are desperate to hit sixes or fours in the shortest amount of time.

How does this ensure good practice to score and also maintain England's fast heights in one-day international (ODI) or 50s? In addition, stalwarts like Surav Ganguly continued to make conflicting statements, mixing T20 with the ODI format. Ganguly, passing the inning gaga of winning Rishav Pant's match recently, said that the World Cup was not the end of the road for him, and more will follow 15 years later, adding to the amazing hype created by not selecting pants for the 2019 World Cup.

A few days later, he said that Virat Kohli's form in this IPL was not an indication of the upcoming world championship. Well, everything was convenient for analyzing the IPL in the intended way, as you can see from such comments. The day, or rather, the night RCB finally dropped out of the tournament, some media officials very quickly added that Virat Kohli should now only focus on preparing for the World Cup!

God forbid, the IPL may be the biggest sticking point in the World Cup when it comes to India's performance at that tournament. Competitive club Bonanza is not suitable for an international event, where pride in the country is more important than money and brilliance.

On the other hand, if some of the players won from the IPL, they all belonged to rival teams. For example, Australia's Warner and Smith did very well right after returning after serving a one-year ban on unauthorized scandal, good batting practice, and now prep camp; some of the Caribbean cricketers have also profited enormously from this tournament and some of them have made it to the World Club and will now be in training camp.

Only Indian cricketers have toiled like maniacs on slow, level fields with no way out, and will now go to England without any physical training. And also, they were definitely destined to face the superstars created by this IPL in competing teams in the upcoming international tournament.

Be that as it may, Team India still really enjoy raising the 2019 World Cup, and we also believe in this positive. If Virat is in trouble with the IPL captain, he will have Doni and Rohit by his side in the World Cup. However, we still regret the eventual absence of any preparatory camp for India to land in England without stirring up the IPL hangover. And then, this time, the ICC World Cup will be played in a round robin mode, where each of the 10 teams will play each other once, and the top four teams will advance to the semi-finals. This promises to be a super cricket rivalry saga with the first leg taking place on May 30, 2019. Happy time for cricket for all fans of this game.
